EMBASSY OF SILENCE: 'Passion And Savagery' Video Released

February 8, 2011

"Passion And Savagery" (acoustic live),the new video from the Finnish atmospheric rock/metal band EMBASSY OF SILENCE, can be viewed below. The clip was directed by Aki Mäki and Aski Tolonen of Filmokratik Productions. The song comes off the group's debut album, "Euphorialight", which was released in May 2010 through the Swedish label Supernova Records.

According to a press release, "Euphorialight" is a "many-splendored album, with the dark gloominess of KATATONIA and ANATHEMA, or the progressive touches of PINK FLOYD and OPETH. The common denominator in the songs are Ines’ spine-chillingly beautiful voice and the catchy melodies of the choruses."

"Euphorialight" features several guest artists, such as Aapo Romu, the cellist of VANGUARD, and on backing vocals Andy Koski Semmens (EREPIA, 0 X I S T; ex-ESOTERIC, ex-PANTHEIST),Juhani Palomäki (COLOSSEUM) and Teppo Tirkkonen (THE PURIFICATION). The CD was recorded at D-Studios, Finland with Jarno Hänninen, and mastered at Sweden's Cutting Room with Björn Engelmann.
